I've never been so glad to get home in my life!!!! I left Solomons at 11am - it was just flurrying. Started snowing for real about Upper Marlboro-ish. The beltway was mostly white but you could still sort of see the lane markers. By the time I got to 270, it was practically a white-out. Me and about 800 other idiots did 20 mph all the way up 270 - I had to stop twice because my windshield wipers were slushed over and I couldn't see.
I was okay as long as I was following the taillights in front of me. If he'd have driven off a cliff, I'd have followed him right on over. Then I had to figure out how to make my exit, since I couldn't actually see the exit and the guy in front of me wasn't going my way.
Navigated the exit and stopped again to clear my wipers and think, "Whew! Only 5 more miles!!!" Then I got over Braddock Mountain and....nothing. All they're having in my little valley is light snow. Larry must have thought I was nuts because they're up at Whitetail skiing and I kept calling him, telling him that he'd better get on the road because the roads were so bad.![LOL  ](/styles/somd_smilies/lol.gif)
I never ever want to do that again.
