I don't know if you are looking for a set denomination but the church I attend is Life Community Church of God on Chancellor's Run in Lexington Park. Our services are at 8:30 and 11:00 A.M. I'd love for you to come if you like.

honestly, it just depends on what i find out about the church, as ive learned they are all different anyways. i grew up methodist then went to missionary with friends in high school and my husband grew up baptist.

Leonardtown Baptist Church is a bible believing church with wonderful people and many opportunities to get involved. I don't know if you are in Lusby? but I do know a few families that travel over the bridge to come. They have a website if you are interested.

Yes, there are people there your age. They have several Sunday classes for married couples and there are quite a few babies there. We have a mix of young, middle aged and old for the services. People dress as they are comfortable. I am usually in dress pants and a sweater/shirt because I teach ages 3-5 and I am on the floor with them a lot. You can wear a dress or pants/jeans whichever you are most comfortable with. We have contemporary music. The preaching is from the Bible. The Pastor is a very compassionate man. Everybody is pretty friendly without swarming all over you.

We just moved from Lusby to northern Calvert last year. When we were in Lusby we attended SouthPoint Church. They recently moved their services to Leonardtown High School because they were growing so much, they had outgrown the previous space they were in. The pastor there, Matt, has an amazing vision for the church and they are just so welcoming. You can check it out at SouthPoint | Passionate about People. I volunteered in the nursery program there and they have a good curriculum that they use and the kids always have fun. Good luck!
