White cat Missing/Lost

My neighbors cat has been missing since 12/26/08.

Lexington Park, Town Creek residence.
Has long white fur with some tan fur on his belly.

Cat weighs 10 - 12 lbs, name is Henri.

There are signs posted in the area.

Please, please let me know if you have seen him.

I'm not trying to make you feel bad at all, seriously... but there was a cat run over on 235 near that area around that time, I can't remember if it was right before or after Christmas though. Will definitely keep an eye out. I really hope that wasn't the same kitty.

Do you have a link to a flyer so people can print them out and post them in other places?

Thanks; hope that it was not Henri!

I'll get a copy of the flyer; they are posted all over the neighborhood and also on a sign off 235 (turning into T.C).

She reported Henri missing. He has a microchip, not sure how those work - if it is only used to identify him to the vet.?.

BTW, Henri has blue eyes - forgot to mention that.

Appreciate the feedback.

I believe if a cat is found by Animal Control or a similar organization, they have a scanner that reads information or a number out of a chip. I'm not sure if the owner's name and address is all in the chip, or a reference number for a database they can look through. Either way, if the cat gets scanned, it gets home.

there is a small white cat with baby blue eyes and a red collar as well as a flea collar...it is in suburban trailer park i saw it yesterday and the day before so cute! i wonder if that could be the cat?

update just talked to the owner it is not her cat...but i will keep my eyes open for her...sorry....i hope he is found safe!!:smoochy:

Thought it was an image, so I took that out and cropped it so it was just the cat - which should have significantly lowered the file size of it.

The information from the flyer:

Missing Cat

"Henry" our family cat has not been home since December 26. He has very long off-white hair, bright blue eyes, and weighs about 10-12 pounds. He is very friendly and sorely missed.

If found please call 301-862-1006. Reward offered for his return.

Great news! Henri was found yesterday. :thewave:
He was making his way home - someone a couple streets down called the owner.
