White lost dog having difficulty walking

I don't know enough to say what breed this dog is. At vet in Huntingtown now with hubby, there is no microchip. Getting a once over to find out why limping on at least two of legs. I put photo on Facebook. Residents of CRE. Not sure how to put photo here. Very gentle and silent. Anyone know

he is a very pretty pup. i hope you can hold on to him instead of turning him into tri-county animal shelter til you can find his owner or maybe find someone to take him in as there dog if you can't keep him yourself .

It looks like a Great Pyrenees...They are frequently used as livestock guardians so you might want to check with farm/livestock owners in the area...

It looks like a Great Pyrenees...They are frequently used as livestock guardians so you might want to check with farm/livestock owners in the area...

I think so too. Those guys get HUGE. I worked for a vet in NC who had 4 of them.

I agree and there are a couple of breeders in the area. Did you contact TriCounty, I seem to think they had one there not too long ago. Thank you for caring and taking it to the vet.

She also had another thread about this dog and informed us that the owner was found.
