1. I know lots of people who give incredibly big marks to any Democrat and believe the Republicans are always the enemy - they're Eeee-vill.
2. You know, and I know, when discussing the merits of anyone in any regard, you can ALWAYS find a crticial fault with someone, and always find good things to say about them. When my father passed six years ago, my older sister could NOT muster anything praiseworthy about him - asked me are we talking about the same person - and yet his memorial must have had hundreds all aching to share how much he had touched their lives. Some people JUST CAN'T see the forest for the trees.

And it goes BOTH ways - some people in awe of someone are dismissive or blind to their obvious faults.

His most ardent supporters think the bipartisan infrastructure deal was a great accomplishment; that the Afghanistan pull-out was absolutely unavoidable; that his border handling is exactly as it should be; that if it were up to them, people would be forced to take the jab door to door (ask Howard Stern); that it is just his first year and at least two other popular Presidents - Reagan and Clinton - had an awful first year; that the slings and arrows we're suffering at the slashing of oil production is worth it;

And so on. They would make Psaki blush.
