Not saying it wasn't her. It certainly was but they could/should have made more effort to improve her appearance unless the "ugly duckling" theme was intentional. A little eyebrow trim, a hair do, a little lipstick and rouge would have done a lot. "The Girl Most Likely...." Stockard Channing comes to mind.

Agreed..she had a few hurdles to clear before she was on TV (local tryouts), so they knew what they had and knew they didn't want to change a thing..IMO
