Who Would Like My Leftover Spaghetti?

I think we are taking this "save the planet" crap too far! What say you? Would you go to a stranger's house and take the last of their opened container of ice cream that they no longer want? Is there something like this in southern Maryland other than the soup kitchens?

Got food?
Whether you’re a household or business, adding to OLIO is easy. Simply snap a photo, add a brief description and provide pick-up details. A lovely neighbour will be delighted to take it off your hands.

Want food?
Browse what’s available nearby (all is free), request anything that takes your fancy and message to arrange a pick-up.

Meet your neighbours
One of the things our users love most about OLIO is the opportunity to meet their neighbours from all walks of life.

To be honest with you, I really like this idea. It would provide free food to those who would need it AND make it available to those who are less fortunate.

Problem is that the program will not last long because some jackass will do something stupid and ruin it. Just name the offense. It WILL happen. It ALWAYS does.

Now let's think about this:

Neighbor has money for internet and knows about this app, but is poor enough to come get your half-eaten bag of stale chips or your leftover Spaghetti-Os.

Those wacky Brits! This is why they lose wars.
