Just watching channel 4 news. Anyone see that weather/storm coming this way? Could bring 70 mph wind gusts. Think I might run up and get gas for the generator!

Foot's Forecast was talking about it but I didn't think it would hit here. They were looking at central and northern Maryland. I will have to look in to this.

It'll get to us. There's already a Severe Thunderstorm Watch in effect for Charles. Expect another to issued for the rest of somd later

As of now, Calvert and St Mary's are the only 2 counties not included but they said it will probably be extended. Maybe it will break up over the mountains in WV, we can use the rain but forget that thunder and lightning crap.

I'm fine with rain, thunder, lightning....but that 70-80 mph wind...no thanks.

Looking at the accuweather radar, it's headed right for you guys. It's huge. Good luck, hope no one loses power or trees. I'm sure after the heat today you will welcome a cool down.

Nothing on the local news??

Why is this event not being covered in the local news? The twitter feed is posting warnings from WV, PA, etc...nothing about St. Mary's County. Even the Weather Channel is having regular programs...and the DC news channels have nothing but a strip at the top. Anybody else having better luck understanding what is actually coming our way?
