Also internet is down and some phone is down.

I am in Lex Park, no internet, no cell both Nextel and Verizon.

Cell works, but no local calls outside of the immediate local area. (ie. Fast busy when dialing on a hard line from Leonardtown to Mechanicsville, but my Verizon cell connected.)

I saw someone say Verizon "took a hit" and another said a "fiber was cut in Hollywood."

Anyone have a definitive answer?

What ever it was it was big, knocked out the dedicated lines between PAX ATC and Washington Center, no DSN, no 800 service, cells for those I have talked with are telling them all circuits are currently busy.
