Unbelievable, despite the click-bait-ish nature of the subject line.

The News4 I-Team heard from viewers who said they were involved in accidents with Amazon delivery trucks that led them down a bumpy road to get help. Consumer Investigative Reporter Susan Hogan explains that’s because who's responsible might not be so clear.

OK any motor vehicle should have car insurance .... Period

The vehicle owner has the insurance policy

this has NOTHING to do with Amazon - these are contractors NOT Amazon Employees

if you use your vehicle for your job, like Door Dash, YOUR carrier is responsible, and you should immediately notify them.

Years ago as delivery service appeared - Roadway Package Service

you were an independent operator - you bought and maintained the truck and paid yourself a salary
