i think it is ridiculous to think that these folks are any less concerned about our country than you. they just have a different opinion.

I would contend that this country, built on capitalism, turning socialist is quite unAmerican. Are you telling me (Mr. Republican Tommyjones) you support such an agenda?

socialism is a big scarry word, but in reality any definition that would make an Obama lead USA socialist, would also make the current USA socialist.

I wont disagree with this. I have been beating Larry up on this, that the country has moved left and is predominately liberal.

However, there are but a few notches yet to be put in the socialist cane that McCain wont engrave but BO will.

i disagree, Mccains over all paln doesnt look all that much different from Obama's to me, and the fact that he has been in congress for almost 30 years while we have traveled down this supposed road to socialism indicates to me that he isn't against it.

It's not Mommy Sam's problem if the little children can't plan for "uh-oh's." Hard times have existed since YHWH kicked the two kuckleheads off of easy street. Not knowing they will happen, and then not planning and preparing for them is foolishness at best.

Don't be foolish. I have personally made as much of a cushion for myself as humanly possible without having parents put me through college, get me job experience, I am just dandy when it comes to health insurance because my company is great, and I STILL realize that I couldn't support myself if certain situations arose. I'm glad that your life has been just pleasant but here in the real world things can happen in the blink of an eye to send you into hard times.

At the point when something catastrophic has happened to you, you'll find out the hard way that the government is not there to help you.

You're too rich to qualify for anything and too poor to remedy the situation.

Been down that road the last four years and you still don't see me advocating for a larger share of the government largess.
