Cookies & Christmas a thing? Or why is eggnog associated with Thanksgiving & Christmas? How did the bunny get linked with Easter? So many questions.

Because Santa eats cookies.
The bunny is a harbinger of spring and because they're prolific breeders, they're seen as a symbol of new life (there's the Easter/rising connection). German tradition had the Osterhaws (I'm not sure of the spelling) which was an egg laying bunny.
I guess they don't talk much about the origins of Christian religions in school anymore.
