my hens lay any eggs???

They are young...but full grown. I bought them last September at the fair. I have always had trouble with the white hens laying... this one hen I have had since September and it hasnt laid one egg.

Well there you go. The white hens are not "laying hens" they are "Pot pie hens".

My dad's chickens always took the winter off. They started laying again in the Spring.

As for those that won't ever lay, get a rooster, it'll encourage them.

Yeah well Stanly sure doesnt do much encouraging...cause hes been in there since Septmeber too....

I was told to try feeding them laying mash...but that doesnt seem to work either.
