I just sold all my old video games and VHS movies on Ebay so I could support my video game addiction.

My Christmas wish list:
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
WWE Smackdown vs. Raw or WWE Day of Reckoning (can't decide yet)
The Sims 2

And a few others besides. :banana:

Not to mention that Halo 2 and Half-Life 2 both just came out on the heels of Doom3.


So, the upshot is, I only have 2 kids now. I had to sell one to scrape together enough jack to buy these games.

Along with X-Men Legends baby!.

Aren't those both 1st person shooter games?

Strangely enough, I can't play those type. I get some sort of weird motion sickness. After about 10 minutes, my neck starts to hurt, and I start sweating profusely. Then I feel this lump in my throat like I'm about to :barf: And finally I start feeling dizzy.

It's really quite unusual. I don't know anyone who has this problem, and *nothing* else that I know of has ever made me motion sick. :confused:

GTA: San Andreas is awesome, but kick the kids out. Seriously. Rockstar must've figured that they had nothing to worry about now that all the lawsuits failed and turned the amp up to 11.

As for FPS nausea, its often called "Doom Nausea", since Doom was the first game to /really/ cause it. Some people can't take the 2D screen / 3D effect visual. I know someone who can barely stand to watch FPS games at a distance. Your only hope is to change the frame rate to a higher htz .

Anyone use hd-loader and add a hard drive to the play station to let you load up to 50 games and not need the discs to play?

Military FPS

I'm a huge fan of the military FPS games for Xbox. I have both of the Ghost Recon games and love them. I'm looking forward to getting Ghost 2 in the next week or two.

I recently bought Conflict Vietnam and personally I give it a 4 or 5 out of 10. I sold it back on ebay last week and only lost $5.00 on the whole deal. It was a decent game, but a little too basic for my taste.

Has anyone out there tried the 'Nam 67-shellshock for the xbox? Anyone know how this game compares to the Ghost Recon type of game play?
