Wii

I'm online looking at games for the Wii and there really doesn't seem to be a lot of choices. Will this change as time goes by? Or will other games play on the Wii?

Also does anybody suggest a shooting game for the Wii? Or maybe a website where I can get better reviews?

TIA

Thanks. I see the reviews say I shouldn't buy Red Steel. Bummer. :frown:

Driving game ideas? Or shooting game ideas?

for driving games, it might be a little juvenile, but Cars is very neat. I bought it for my son for our PS2, and I enjoy it just as much as he does. I know that is available on WII..

Not for the Wii, I gave you the link to the site I use when researching for the PS2... The Wii looks like it is aimed more at children, in fact shorty asked me for one the other day...:bankhead:

Where are my pants?
My husband really enjoys Call of Duty. It's a first person shooter. Red Steel goes back and forth between a first person shooter and a sword swinging game.

And the list of older system games that you'll be able to buy with Wii points will expand as time goes on. Have no fear.

I like the new Legend of Zelda for the system. Nostalgic but the use of the Wii Remote makes it pretty interesting.

My favorite is still Wii Sports. I find it more entertaining each time I play it.

I bet its a pain to play with the wierd controlers

Ehhhh..... it takes time, that's all... it's pretty fun once you get the controls down. I haven't launched my controller yet, but I almost destroyed my TV when I was bowling because I accidentally nailed my water bottle sitting on my coffee table - if the bottle had sailed about two inches higher - bye, bye plasma.

Silly question but why not go bowling for real?

So many of my co-workers asked me that! :lmao:

* I can achieve a higher score on the Wii than on the real alley.
* I can play infinite games and not pay extra

* I have no friends! :lmao: :bawl:

Ehhhh, but it's fun! I haven't gone bowling in a long time now that you mention it...

Wario Ware: Smooth Moves

I was able to pick this game up the other night. It makes no sense... but it's so much fun. You have to hold the Wii Remote in certain variations to try and play all these mini-games. The mini-games only last for about 5 seconds but it's one after the next.

It's hard to explain, but sometimes you have to palm it like you're holding a serving tray, put it to your nose as if it's an elephant (seriously) or even lay it down on the table and pick it up like it's a phone... it's a crazy game.

If you don't laugh while playing it someone will definately laugh AT you.

Definately a fun game that gets you away from the "norm". :yay:
