Wikipedia has been down since yesterday afternoon

I never realized how many times a day I look something up there, so this has really been a traumatic time for me.

Curious why they're down so long. Usually an entity like that they have mirror servers that they switch over to, or the problem is resolved in some fashion within maybe an hour. But they've been down hard since 4pm yesterday.

I just looked at the outage map and it appears it's not down everywhere, but in my area it is.

EDIT: and it looks like it's my ISP. I just got on with my Verizon hotspot and it's fine.
