will the hospital allow people to stay if they are there and the roads get really bad?

bohman just took the youngest to the ER (worried something's wrong with his belly after having a stomach bug a few days ago, now he won't eat and his diapers have been completely dry all day.) Obviously I"m worried soemthing's wrong with the little dude but I"m almost as worried about them trying to get home in 3-4 hours.

Awww, I sure hope the little one is ok. Poor little guy must be really dehydrated.

As for them being able to stay, I doubt that your insurance would pay for an overnight stay if it wasn't medically necessary. I hope everything works out ok, I definitely understand why you'd rather them not be on the roads.

I wouldn't think they would unless it isn't crowded. I don't know though. They may be worried enough about him to keep him though. Poor baby. Let us know please. :huggy: My thoughts are going out to you guys and the little one.

Thanks for your thoughts. The boy is fine now. Thank God the ER was nearly deserted Friday night; we were able to have the doctor check his vital signs and give us the all-clear to go home in record time. I made it from Leonardtown to L.P. just before the road became impassable for me. Getting up the hill at the south end of St. Andrew's road was a little tough.

We think that it was just a combination of a dehydration headache and a bit of constipation that had him in a bad way. Gave us a good scare but that was all.

Glad it all worked out for your little man. Not looking forward to the first time mine gets sick. :huggy:
