OMG I hate it so far. Why are the colors on my monitor all messed up? Everything has a purple or green hue. All the pictures on websites, videos, even on here. I can't even find a Help button or a Search box. Does anyone know how I can get my monitor to look like it's supposed to with a clear screen and vivid colors? My head is about to explode trying to figure it out and hoping someone here can help me. TIA.

I posted in another thread about the Windows 10. So aggravating. My computer kept asking me to upgrade to 10, so I finally did. And, then they told me I didn't have enough space. The really aggravating thing is that they continue to ask me to upgrade. I have heard that 10 is a nightmare. My hub wants to buy me an Ipad, he has never had a days trouble with his. I just had to send in my hp tablet/laptop for repairs on the audio which was still under warranty. Gone for three weeks, and when I got it back, everything was messed up. As far as your question, I can't help you, but I feel your pain! :huggy:

I wasn't going to upgrade but I got a new PC and Windows 10 is installed on it. I can't figure out for the life of me why the color on my monitor is so messed up from just hooking it up. I didn't change a thing. Here I am at 1:30 in the morning still trying to figure it out. And to hell with the Edge browser, popups constantly, etc. I just downloaded Firefox because I'm familiar with it. The color thing is driving me crazy! I hope someone can give me advice.

This link may help, not sure have not tangled with W 10 yet

Thanks, I figured it out. It was set to the "recommended" resolution. The recommended setting for my monitor isn't even on the drop down list so I assumed the recommended setting (according to Windows 10) was the right one. Fooled around with all the ones listed and finally got it right. Now I'm having problems installing the printer

I've had Win10 for about 5 months now. I was disappointed that it wasn't the fix for Win8 that I wanted, but I've gotten used to it. I had some compatibility issues with scanner and printer. I'm not sure if I've done what's right, or whether I'd just figured out a workaround, but I'm slightly satisfied. A few problems finding things. I guess the "app" mentality is here to stay and I just might as well embrace it.

Listen guys...

i personally think that windows 10 is great - faster and packed with new features.
mitzi you might have to update your driver - thats all (of the graphic card).

which windows version did you have before upgrade?

It was a resolution problem. Now the printer is driving me nuts. It keeps hanging at "aligning cartridges". I installed the new printer on my netbook with Windows 7 with no problems. It swear it's the dam& Windows 10.

It is fast and I'm learning the browser. The issue is with installing my hardware. I don't want this headache for what should be a easy task and not have to search forever online for solutions.

You're probably right... Try to check the manufacturer site or just google with the printer name for the driver.

windows 10 require new drivers in some cases. if you cant find it, share the name of the printer (and model) and i would try to help you.
