Wifey and I just picked up a new laptop and an AIO desktop, both with Windows 8.1. Coming from XP, all these pop-up ads are driving me nuts. How can I disable these stupid things? Every time I change a pagre - here they come.

Any help would be appreciated.

Nothing to do with which version of windows you are using btw.

You can turn off popups in all modern browsers, for IE its in internet settings.
