Wine Pairing at Port of Leonardtown Winery..

I noticed on the calendar that every Thursday there's a wine pairing with the Leonardtown winery and food from the Rustic River.

I brought it up to a friend and we're going to try it out. I've had food at the Rustic River but haven't tried any of the wine. Has anyone gone or had the wine before? Reviews?

I'm certainly no wine conoyser myself and seldom drink it,but...my folks are, and they live in Virginia 'wine country' too. This past Christmas, I gave them the 'gift' pack of 4 different bottles from the Leonardtown Winery. Got a call a couple weeks later from my mom, raving about two of the four being some of the best she's tasted from anywhere. I translated that to mean also: "Hint, hint..buy us some more when ya get the chance". ;-)

Sorry...I don't remember which ones specifically those were, but she said they were all great anyway.

been to the Leonardtown winery many times, it is great! the people are friendly, nice and very knowledgable. The have great wines there, I highly recomment GO!~!
