I thought all you gardeners and such would like to know, Today the days start getting longer as we enter the first day of winter

This may be the winter solstice, but the days don't get longer for a couple of days. Christmas is on 25 December because that is when the days start to get longer (well at least for most years).

Hooray Spring is coming! Sorta. My Gardenias are still green I'm so surpised by that.

Yeah bring on the light. I have had my fill of driving home from work at 5 pm and it being pitch black by the time I get there.

Dandelions are starting to peek out along with June lilies.
I think they are in for a suprise.

You know, one most wonder if this plants have aquired a resistance to cold after so many "false" springs year after year.

My irises and mole plats never really died off.
