Part of digital photography is post processing your pictures after you download them to your computer. Most of the things we do now with our editing programs were also done to film. With film you could use Velvia film to achieve higher saturation levels, where now we open the image in a program and use a slider. They used chemicals to achieve adjustments to contrast, sharpness, and many other things we do in software now.
So for this week, lets all try it with the same picture. I will post an image, that you all can right click and save to your own computer. Take some time to play with it in whatever editing program you have. If you need one go download Picasa from google.
The objective will be to enhance the original picture, while keeping its real look. Make it look better without over doing it or making it look fake. This isn’t a Photoshop job, just post processing. You will be adjusting things like, contrast, saturation, sharpness, color temperature, levels, and crops. Have fun and post your favorite that you get!
