Wow. Thanks for the story. The same thing happened to my daughter last week up near Damascus. She saw a little orange kitten trying to make himself flat on the dividing line of an intersection, and slammed on her brakes, and jumped out of the car. Not terribly safe! Then two more motorists got out of their cars, also, and they all chased the kitten around, and everyone else was very patient. The kitten was corralled, and one guy said he owned a farm, and would take the kitten home. That cat had gone under her car at some point. My daughter said, "Mom, I have asphalt embedded in my knees, and I exposed myself to the world (she had a skirt on), but I don't care because it was worth it."
