The old WMJS had halfway-decent local news coverage, thanks to Marty Madden. I think the local news coverage on the Somar stations (WMDM/WKIK/WSMD) is pitiful.

Unless someone volunteers to provide them with free news, I doubt if a free, public access radio station run by a church, will be able to provide hard hitting news and traffic in Southern Maryland.
