Woman, 25, Who Abandoned Newborn Remains Jailed

HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) - A 25-year-old woman gave birth in her home and after delivering a boy, carried the infant across the alley behind her house and put him on the ground underneath a trailer parked along the alley, court documents reveal.

Ruck's live-in boyfriend, Scott Rohrbaugh, told police he awoke on Sept. 17 and found a large amount of blood on the floor and walls in his home. Rohrbaugh told police he suspected Ruck was pregnant, but said she never told him that she was pregnant.
