"After the attack, game wardens closed the park and released hounds to track the lion. They later shot and killed two lions found near the trail where the attack happened.
The carcasses were flown to a state forensics lab to determine IF either animal had mauled the man"
Well just kill the innocent ones I hope they at least killed the right one.
I, for one, wouldn't go hiking in a place that I knew was likely to have mountain lions
Thats like the idiots climbing snow covered mountains in 10 below zero weather and getting killed.

That is too bad if those lions weren't responsible but I think the story was great.
You never know for sure what's out there. A friend and I went trail riding in WV and came across a young black cub. We thought oh how sweet and then we came to realize that young cub most likely meant mama, not so sweet. So needless to say our arses moved out swiftly!!
