Did you ever see that episode of Oprah? That creeped me out so bad. The woman was on the line with 911 when the guy broke in her house. She was in the closet whispering on the phone. The guy found her, raped her, and killed her.... all being recorded.

Because hopefully all these kind of cases help educate people that bad things can happen anywhere and YOU have to be the one to protect yourself, not rely on the police. The police are minutes away when seconds matter.

The article read as though she called her husband first and then 911. What a shame. Maybe the police could have gotten there on time if she had called them first.
