A woman received an 11-year prison sentence Friday for allowing her newborn son to slowly starve to death during his 3-month life.
Tiffany Shantele Spears, 27, was convicted of felony murder in the death of Westley Richardson, who died in May from chronic starvation, and the neglect of his twin sister and older brother, who also went hungry for days.
Roanoke Circuit Judge Charlie Dorsey sentenced Spears to 50 yrs in prison, suspended after she serves 11 yrs.
Dorsey said there was a "very human desire to understand and have some sort of insight as to why this happened. But there are some things in life that are inexplicable."
WTP is that? The judge actually said that???
Inexplicable???? Oh helll no!!
