Women and Manholes

My YT 'suggested' feed keeps popping up 'idiots at work' vids, and a number of them show women falling down manholes. The pics look fake, like the ones below, but there were so many that I did a quick search.

Yes, there is apparently a thing where women fall down manholes frequently. The last pic is a screen shot from a vid where the woman and her baby actually do fall into a manhole.

I think they are all fake. Anytime that I have seen that kind of work being done, something was put around the manhole so that pedestrians were forced to walk around it.

when I was a mere lad of 17, working at 7-11, the old owner had me stocking the shelves,,, he said, make sure you stock the "manhole covers"... I had no idea what he was talking about. Well, womens needs... ala: Manhole covers, light, regular, overnight....

Husband witnessed a lady fall down a manhole in a hotel's parking lot. The cover was over it but apparently not secured. Lady stepped on one side of it as she was walking. The cover flipped up and down she went. Husband helped her out and then went into the hotel to let them know what happened. They didn't believe him until the lady came in wet and covered in dirt.
