You know - I have never seen anything quite like this, on the right - but it happens CONSTANTLY on the left.
I wasn't happy when Clinton won - twice. Or when Obama won - twice. Or the outcome of 2020. But I never needed a scream room, I had no intention of killing someone over it, and I didn't need a day off from work to MOURN. When I was in Little League, we were the Bad News Bears most of the time - we lost almost every game. You learn to accept it. Gosh, I played games all the time growing up, with family and friends. You LEARN to accept defeat graciously.
We've stopped DOING this in elections, because social media and politicians and Hollywood - they've turned it into life or death. The other side is EVIL and must be killed. If you side with evil, you must be stopped. At all costs.
And I put the blame SQUARELY at the feet of the left.
You know, for all the anger directed at Trump on Jan 6 - he WAS a half mile away urging people to demonstate peacefully - and after a few fights with the Capitol police, a fraction of the crowd decided to do things differently. They went in and - well - walked around. Yeah, there was damage but no one inside (that wasn't a protester) was shot (because there weren't any guns). No torching of offices, no general mayhem. Footage shows it was mostly people walking around inside. I still don't agree with them - but it was WAY less violent than people make it out to be and doesn't come close to the carnage from the BLM riots.
They want to blame - Trump. For raising the idea that the Dems had cheated and were getting into the White House via a crime. For creating this narrative - they blame him, even in lieu of the fact that he didn't tell them, asked them NOT to and eventually, the riot ended because he asked them to please just go home. It was not "ended" by the police. They left, because he asked them to.
But hey - if this THREAT of thwarting the Constitution can be placed on the shoulders of Trump for telling people Biden cheated -
THEN THEY OWN THE ASSASSINATION ATTEMPTS. Sorry. Trump said rude things for eight years. It wasn't until this election he suddenly became an "existential threat". We had Biden saying he needed to be locked up - taken out back and beaten - and so on. He was Hitler, he was a fascist, he would be a dictator.
For THESE LIES - they own the attempts. If Trump can be called on for J6 because of what he said of the election, then the Left totally owns the assassination atttempts - and any future ones - for coming up with their stories of national abortion bans, shutting down contraception, bloodbath and very fine people. I am sorry, but if they TRULY BELIEVED he was THAT DANGEROUS they would NEVER EVER hand over the White House. If they believed it, they would never boast about how the transtion of power was going to be peaceful and everything would be just fine. They lied. And people have been trying to KILL him. Sorry - they own that. It's not him tweeting mean - this happened THIS year. It's them.
