Connecticut town names sewage plant after John Oliver following tirade

A Connecticut mayor who is feuding with “Last Week Tonight” host John Oliver said he naming the town’s sewage plant after the comedian.


In a video posted on Facebook, Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton announced the change shortly after Oliver singled-out the town in an expletive-filled rant on the HBO show.
“We are going to rename it the John Oliver Memorial Sewer Plant,” the mayor says. “Why? Because it’s full of crap just like you, John.”
