I'm working at home today because there was anohter &^*U&(*#$*& flood in my basement. :tantrum

The problem is, my cat just laid down on top of all of my paperwork and fell asleep! :lmao:

Now, how am I supposed to get any work done?

Was her feet wet and leave wet marks on the work? Why arn't you pumping out the water in your basement?

Already WetVac'ed the floor twice this morning. It's pretty dry now, and thankfully it's stopped raining.

I'll go down there a little later and clean the floor and see how bad the damage is (I think it's okay). :fingerscrossed:

You'll just have to wait until kitty decides to wake up and get off your papers, prepare for all day long. If he is like my cat they become even more adement about laying on whatever I don't want him to, especially when he knows that he is not suppose to be there. :lmao:

You're right.
Excellent! The first step in any 12-step program is to admit you have the problem! Now you begin the long, slow road to recovery, with the help of others trying to recover just like you. Help is there for you! Call 1-866-743-6551 - they'll help you along, DW! :huggy:

Have you told yourself yet that you're a Dork?

Or should I say Moron.

Which one did Trainer use on ya?

Ahh, yes - the defensive reactions typical of one who's reached the end of the line, reaching out - no, CRYING, for help. Wish I could dial that number for ya, DW - takes a lot of courage to take that step for yourself. But I know you can do it.

Will you pray for me?

We should also understand that we can get negative answers to our prayers, and that God's will for us is that the RIGHT things happen for the RIGHT reasons. Sometimes that entails very painful answers to prayer. Also we need to understand that things will happen in GOD's time, not ours. It could take most of a lifetime to get an answer to a prayer, or to discover why a given prayer was left "unanswered."
Nevermind.
