Chief 2 asked for one right from the get-go. Most likely will be the one from Prince Frederick

Rapid Intervention Team. If a firefighter goes down inside the structure, they go in and get them. Consider them rescuers of the rescuers.

Too bad it takes like 18 months to get a freakin' RIT tag or county ID (Calvert, anyway).

They all are in Prince Frederick, thats where their office is during daytime hours, at the MSP barracks. In the evenings, nights and weekends is when you get the on call Fire Marshall. God help you if its the one who lives in Germantown on call that night, especially if your in Ridge.:killingme Even lights and siren would proably be 2 hours.

That's what the chief is for. Hang around and wait for the fire marshal!

Wow! Same one they boarded up after last Thursday's fire and they had to rip all that plywood off again. Obviously it has been smoldering since Thursday but is it normal for it to take that long to flare up again? I don't know much about fire except that it's hot and it sure is tricky stuff!

If they summoned the fire marshall good chance they aren't considering this a 'natural' event.

Isn't that the same house that caught fire last Thursday?

No way it's been smoldering for close to a week. They went back the first time it caught fire and had to put it back out because of a rekindle. With as much water as they put on it those two times, it may have smoldered until Saturday at the latest. The house was supposed to be vacant and it looked to have ignited on the opposite side of where the first fire started
