"World War Z" the movie

Went to see this last night.
I love Zombies such as in "The Walking Dead" tv series, where they rip the skin off of their victims and eat their organs. Gore to perfection! There was none of this in the movie. They simply bit their victims. The Zombies were not that scary looking. They had bulging eyes, and big teeth "chompers". Their skin was heavily "veined". That's about it...No half-eaten skin falling from their faces...
I found this movie to be boring and predictable. It was centered too much on Brad Pitt's part and not enough Zombie action.
The special effects were minimal and I found only two scenes worth mentioning. But I didn't feel that they were enough to carry the film.
Overall, I found it to be disappointing, after all the hype it was given.
I also read that there was an original ending, not used in the film.
I think the original ending, would have made the movie more interesting and less predictable. Why did they change it?:cds:

That explains the review I saw. The guy doing the review said he's not a fan of zombie movies, but he really liked this one.

I know this was rated a "PG-13" and I think this was a mistake. It would have been better off being a "R" rated movie and contain the blood, gore, and violence! After all, isn't that what Zombies are all about? lol
And, there were no curse-words in it...not that I'm a big fan of curse-words, but it seemed so strange without them! lol

I'm not a zombie fan and I'll probably never watch this movie, but for the zombie fans out there, yes, I think you're right. That's what people want to see when they see a zombie movie.

I think this would make a good "DVD" movie. Who knows, you may like it. It is not your typical Zombie movie. (Nothing scary about it...for adults that is, little kids may find it scary.)
Just read that they are thinking of making a sequel. I will definitely wait to see this until it comes out as a "DVD" movie!

I haven't een it yet and will probably just wait for it to come out on VHS. I believe Zombies are real. I think they are living in Oregon right now.

If monsters inc can beat world war z on the opening weekend, it must not be that good.

Kid's movies always have an advantage. I just want to see Monster's U because a group I was in 30 years ago is on the soundtrack.

My wife wants to go see the zombie flick on Sunday. I've been looking for any excuse not to, but since we are kidless I'm having a hard time. Looks like I get to sit through it.

I think you'll be waiting a very long time. How long ago did they stop selling movies on VHS? :killingme

I don't buy or rent DVD's I've heard that you can't record on them and that they scratch too easy.

I went to go see this movie last night and I thought it was just okay. Not much gore, just a a lot of very fast Zombies. It was like watching domino's topple over once a group got infected. I was expecting more of a Walking Dead feel and was a little dissapointed.

No interest in seeing it, prefer TWD, night of the living dead type Zombies. The ones in WWZ look more like 28 Days Later Zombies on crack and steroids even though in 28DL it was called the rage virus.
