Experiments are best undertaken in a lab where you can control the environment. Sadly, some up and coming social scientists ignore logic and test out their theories in the real world, sans seat belt and bicycle helmets. Situational awareness and gut feelings have kept people secure for centuries. Now is not the time to abandon instincts that have taken generations to develop and were honed by real world experiences.
