Just felt like posting a meaningless tread. Been a while since I did that.

The downside: the extended warranty runs out tomorrow.

I appreciate the extra money and don't plan on getting another car for a few years. I love my car and hope to have many more miles cruising in it with the top down.

We did.

When the future started looking kinda grim with the Government's Contracts folks, we paid off both of our cars to improve our monthly cash flow. It was a really smart move! It worked out to be paying off the PT Cruiser something like 2 years early, and 3 years early for the Miata. AND we avoided paying interest for all that time.
