Chesapeake Ranch Estates has to say goodbye to tradition this year and begin a new one. Would you like to help?

We had a volunteer for years who set up the Haunted House using his own collection. This year he is moving to Texas. While we wish him the best, we will miss him more than he and his wife will ever fathom.

So... now we need to start a new tradition.... Haunted Halloween and the Hayride at Chesapeake Ranch Estates will be new and improved this year with your help.

We have a clean slate... what would you suggest.... I was thinking of a contest... best costume or best set up .... to be judged in the Campgrounds... Any ideas?

I think that would be great too...

I took my daughter somewhere when she was about 4... they had people dressed like fairy tale characters who gave out candy.... When the kids walked up they read the poem and then met the character.

I'd love something like that... it would be excellent!

I helped put together a haunted hayride for a petting zoo a few years ago. I could give you some ideas that we did. It was during the day so we were not all that scary (though my area was). How often are you meeting and where?

I have to reserve a spot to meet and get back to everyone with a schedule...

I didn't know if I would get any response since it's only a few weeks away....
