New concept, hear me out. Start buying non-E fuel. The price hasn't changed more than a cent or two for months, no surprises, you always know just what to expect. And it's better for your car anyway.

I myself have replaced the motor with a squirrel in a treadmill. I can run my truck for peanuts.

Non-E user myself. But that aside, the price increase is not supported by any change in real supply and will have to recede fairly quickly.

Wrong as usual.

The straight of Hormuz is now closed because of Dumb Donny.

20% of the world crude travels through there. Add the cost of moving it around now and you have higher prices.

Sorry moron. The US gets less than 7% of our oil from any source passing through the strait and being the largest supplier in the world, can easily make up that tiny amount. That aside, to truly punctuate your moron status, the strait remains open.

P.S.: learn to spell.

as it's been said time & time & TIME again by almost every member on this forum (with a few exceptions, of course)...

Your absolute lack of knowledge on EVERY subject is quite astounding...my guess is after your 3rd failed attempt at kindergarten, you just never went back and are quite content with being a cradle to grave welfare failure...quite sad, really....

how are you so stupid?

Tehran’s lawmakers voted to cut off the Strait of Hormuz, a trade route that sees one-fifth of the world’s oil and gas pass through it. The move has rattled investors, sending oil futures soaring by around 10 per cent since the US launched strikes on Iran.

Iran could deny access to the giant tankers that ferry oil and gas to China, Europe and other major energy-consuming regions, according to Bloomberg.

If this happened, oil prices would surge and potentially destabilise the global economy, according to the publication.

The European Union’s top diplomat, Kaja Kallas, warned on Monday that an Iranian closure of the Strait would be dangerous and "not good for anybody".

Exactly it’s still open. It’s gonna remain open.

Another example of how Democrats dwell inside their moronic minds instead of reality.

Wow, that was fast only three posts later… And you already changed it from “it’s closed” to “if“

You really need to go back to your Playschool toys and stay out of the adult conversations.

Better let the oil traders know about those soaring prices since WTI futures are still down from when I posted a couple hours ago.

So, the Iranians threatened to close the Strait, that just means it's Tuesday. They've threatened that before and there are a couple Carrier Battle Groups there that would take exception. Which is exactly why they're there.

And do you really think China would allow that to happen?

IF..and that's a big "if"..Iran tried to close the strait, it would take the US Navy, as currently there assembled, about 2 days, tops, to totally annihilate the Iranian "navy" and the shoreside missile batteries. Frankly, that is exactly why I seriously hope that the Iranians DO attempt to close the strait.
