Writer searches for a peculiar relic....

Ubi bene ibi patria
"The "Holy Prepuce," the supposed foreskin of Christ, has disappeared.

VATICAN CITY -

When freelance writer David Farley first visited Calcata, Italy, five years ago, he figured it would make for a colorful article for a travel magazine.

The picturesque hill town 30 miles north of Rome featured a medieval castle and narrow cobblestone streets, as well as an international population of artists and ex-hippies who had saved the abandoned village from demolition."

"I think most people would agree that it won't do the church any good to get publicity" of that kind, he said. "Most people still snicker about it."

Tell me about it... He resurrected and went to heaven in visible site by the apostles (whom Peter their favored first pope was one) and He mysteriously forgot a piece of His body. Wow... we won't believe in a virgin birth, death and resurrection... assension into heaven... BUT let's believe His foreskin is still here and now stolen...

Yes.
The brit mila (ritual circumcision) is always held during the eighth day after the child is born, even if the eighth day occurs on Shabbat or a holiday. A baby born on Monday morning or afternoon will have his brit on the next Monday. But a baby born on Monday night will have his brit on the following Tuesday since, according to the Hebrew calendar, a new day begins after sundown.

yes... on the eighth day, this is recorded in Scripture. Do you know many people who keep jars of forskins on people? Did not the Jews as a whole reject Jesus as the Messiah... who kept the forskin then? The church was not before the assension of Christ.

This is fable to take away from the real truth. People will find the forskin story easier to believe though, I'm sure.

so fred, does that mean that god reunited jesus with his foreskin when he was resurected, or was it left behind?
Jesus was ascended with a glorified body... the same we will have at resurrection.

Read my previous message as to keeping the forskin. I'm sure many will want to take that to heart instead of the real gospel message of salvation to the world.

You haven't accepted Jesus... you don't have to assume you will be resurrected, you don't believe remember... I know I won't be worried whether mine was kept for a holy relic or not!

Glorified body... perfect, incoruptible body...

care to show me the part in the Bible that says it was saved as a relic?

And specifically... no I don't care to show you. Study the "glorified body" section of scripture and you will have understanding. Oh, wait... scratch that. No, you won't see it there because the Bible is only man written and not God inspired. Sorry, no... can't help you due to your lack of faith.
