WTF is up with this Critical Update for Windows

This item updates the Bookshelf Symbol 7 font included in some Microsoft products. The font has been found to contain unacceptable symbols. After you install this item, you may have to restart your computer.

I thought a Critical Update for Windows is for CRITICAL problems that could let in viruses or security issues.

All this Critical Update does is remove a swastika from the font.

I mean I don't need a swastika in my font, but I sure as heck don't need a Update for Windows to remove it either.

You'd think they would post it as a minor update or include it in a general service pack. The restart is ludicrous. I'm a little busy right now MS, I'll restart to fix your inability to notice TWO swastikas when I'm not in the middle of something.

Does anyone actually use the bookshelf fonts? My set seems to contain a bunch of musical symbols (sharps, codas, quarter notes, etc) letters with accents, card suits and some math symbols.

It does have the Star of David and some arrow forms, which might come in handy, somewhere... but I'd opt for a picture rather than the character.
