Faith, a 4-year-old Rottweiler, phoned 911 when Beasley fell out of her wheelchair and barked urgently into the receiver until a dispatcher sent help. Then the service dog unlocked the front door for the police officer.

Yep, amazing what they can teach a dog.

I have Milo trained to get in the close if a tornado is coming. I yell "TORNADO get in the closet" and he runs. He will also go to the door and bark if he wants in or out, but that is it.
