Anybody know if the Wilson bridge is all jacked up again this weekend?

Yep and it is going to be jacked up every day of the week for a really long time. I was up there a few weeks ago and you really have to be alert for the detours.

So if one were to be traveling from La Plata to Manassas, might one be wise to go south through Fredericksburg?

THAT, I don't know for sure, but I think both lanes are running. It is the cones everywhere rerouting traffic and the rubbernecking that slow everything down. I'm not a fan of driving in that area anyway. I'd rather drive in Baltimore.

The stuff they did last weekend to the northbound lanes will be done to the southbound lanes in a few weeks or so. There's just the normal confusion around there this weekend.

C's heding to the racetrack in Manassas and they're trying to decide which way to go. It's a caravan of duallies hauling box trailers. I say screw the bridge mess!
