Nope. It was Patton. Patton wanted to take the Soviets out after Germany surrendered since we already had our armies over there. WWII in europe ended May 8th, 1945. Patton died December 21st, 1945 after an auto accident December 9th, 1945. If he was attacking the soviets he wouldn't have been in Manheim Germany where the accident happened.

Our "leaders" refuse to learn the lessons from history. An alternative would be our "leaders" are incapable of learning the lessons of history.
