I don't see how it spreads out of that area, literally none of those countries except possibly Pakistan can project force beyond their own back yard. China/Russia aren't going to war over Iran.

Sam Spade and I argue about this all the time. I don't think these people are stupid at all. I think they're highly malicious and will do anything for power. They know exactly what they're doing.
