XM Radio Changes

As of today, XM Radio no longer carries ABC News and Talk. A few shows were moved to "America Right" Hannity, Levin and Brinker. Moved Dr. Schlesinger to Take 5. Message on channel says it dropped it due to channel reprogramming. One of the Main reasons I got XM. Any one else perturbed by these changes?

They used to repeat that every morning, played it at 6 then again at 8.

Yeah, it was much better than the other news where they would pause while the tv audiences watched the "amazing footage" and make comments like, "wow, did did you see that amazing rescue ?

Seems like they always drop the good shows. I had started to like Larry Elder, thought maybe this was because ABC Radio Network sold, since recently he was only LA and XM/SIRIUS. Before nationwide, even welcoming listeners in OC, MD.
Sirus website still show ABC. And, the channel America Right is said to be subject to preemption for baseball. Do they want to kill satelite radio? Down here in St. Mary's county, I can not get much if anything on terrestial radio in car.

Not to be rude [just answering your question] but no not me.

I bought XM because So MD has such lousy reception and NO ONE and I mean no one plays the music I want to listen to. Channel 42-XMLM all the way. When they bought it back, I joined back up with XM.

The only talk radio I listen to is an occasional G Gordon who I haven't listened to in years and every morning during football I catch Mike and Mike on ESPN.

Speaking of sports talk, is Jim Rome's radio show on XM or Sirius any where and is Rome is Burning still on the tube in the afternoon.

I really only listen to the music channels, so I'm not really concerned about what they do to the talk channels. I wish they would play a better selection though. I end up doing as much channel surfing as I did with FM to avoid the commercials. Its still a big plus over FM though.

The other day I was sitting at a light when a car playing loud rap music pulled up next to me. I just rolled up the drivers side window. Then one pulled up on the other side! Too much. I tuned to the bluegrass station rolled my windows down and cranked it up until I couldn't hear rap. Yee haw.

Thats great. when i shared an office i would do the same thing all the time. I am a great roommate
