XXS training pants

camily

Peace
Ok, Celie has been going on the potty off and on today and yesterday. She REALLY wants to use the potty. My problem is that I can't find training pants small enough. She is right on 20 lb. now but her weight is mostly in her height. She is still a shorty but at least she hits the charts(5%) in height, still way under in weight. Her hips are almost 16 inches and the smallest I can find is starting at like 20 inches. I can find them online for big $$$ but I refuse to do that (for now) if I can buy them in the stores. Weight wise, they start for kids 23lbs. or so. I was hoping you guys could be more eyes for me in the stores. If you see them ANYWHERE that are extra small let me know please. I don't want to go the Pull-Ups route, as they just mimick diapers, unless we are going out or something. Any other ideas welcome! TIA

With a hiney that tiny, why can't you buy the stretchable diapers, fasten them so they fit and pull them up and down...

I could do that as well, but I really want her in "big girl" pants. SHE wants big girl pants.

Itty bitty undies would be good, but do they come that small?

I found these, but they're $14. Super cute though.

Remember that whole hoopla about people who didn't want to put diapers on their infants? They had to be putting something on them, and I'm assuming it was underwear, so they've gotta be out there somewhere. Maybe not real cheap, but out there nonetheless.

What are those though? Are they diaper covers? Thanks for looking, but I don't know if I want to go the expensive online specialty route just yet. If by chance I can't find any in the stores, then I'll keep them in mind and have to go online,

My wife found a lot of things at thrift shops. I know you aren't close to here, but SMILE in Lusby has tons of stuff. They get donations from a lot of rich people, so she was able to get new name brand stuff cheap, like a Tommy Hilfiger outfit with tags still on it for $1.

I'm sure there are places near you. I'd be weirded out with used training pants, but it's better than $15/pair. Good luck!
