Yardsale/Benefit For Preston at APEHANGERS

Preston Ferguson was in a serious car accident a year and a half ago and lost
both of his legs as a result of it. The Ape’s family is having a yard
sale/benefit to raise funds to help Preston get his prosthetic legs. Preston
has devoted so much of his time to local fire departments and EMTs and has
helped saved numerous lives – now it’s time to help him! We have
storage trailers set up in the Ape’s parking lot and would like everyone
to go through all your belongings and drop off any yard sale items for this
very important benefit. We will need volunteers to help with the yard sale/
benefit as well. Any help would be very much appreciated. Also, we
are looking for one more band to donate their time for a few hours – we already have two bands lined up. This is an awesome opportunity to be heard and to promote your band - while doing something really worthwhile for one of our very own unsung heroes.

Date/time is 8am August 5th...

Let me talk to my hubby and make sure nothing is going on that day, but if not I would love to volunteer my time to do anything that's needed. Should I contact you to volunteer, or someone else?

I know that the sale is over, but I just wanted to say that I think it is wonderful that everyone is helping out for Mr. Ferguson. I am from Western MD and was able to attend the Shock Trauma Gala for Preston and the other young lady. There were 4 nurses from our local trauma center that went down for the event. None of us had ever heard a story so moving in our lives. He is a true miracle. We were blessed to be able to hear him tell his story as our tears ran down our cheeks for him and his family. Wish him well, and thank him for sharing his story with so many others.
