Lem Putt
Because the people who decide it would be great to do these things hire people who don't care to put them in, then hire people who don't care to maintain them, then when the budget is tight they cut the people who maintain them. Then a few years later they all start from scratch, convince people how great another "renewal" project would be, spend tons of money, and make sure they get front page coverage on the Emptyprise for the ribbon cutting that just by coincidence happens just before election day.So.
Help me understand why the county would spend all that money on cute brick median strips, then not maintain them so that weeds and trees (some of them a foot high) can grow up in the cracks and destroy them?
