My pipsqueak neighbor dog got loose and was running through my yard. Kiki sat and watched this for a bit, then the dog noticed her and started over, yapping his head off.

Kiki growled.

Doggie paused, then started coming again.

Kiki growled again, and hissed for good measure.

Doggie hesitated, whimpered a bit, barked, then charged her.

So Kiki freakin' launched herself on this poor dog, tackled him down, and chased him out of the yard. She was quite proud of herself when she came strutting back.

(I tried to tell the neighbors that their vicious wolverine was running around, but they weren't home and he wouldn't come near me so I could tie him back up.)

As she should be. The yappy dog was trying to intimidate Kiki and she said, as only a cat can, that she wasn't going to tolerate it. My dominant female rules the roost of my pack. One look from her and my 70# pointer mix backs away.

Good for KiKi - that dog was gettin on my nerves when we were over there for the golfballs. I have two little yappers and they dont bark unless there is a reason to bark - aka- like someone is at the door THEY dont know. I cant stand dogs that just sit there and bark for no reason just for attention - the owners should have some common sense to see what the dog is barking at and tend to the reason not leave it outside just to bark. Why have the dog....
