I've been seeing a few fishermen at Wayson's Corner since the last warm spell. Has anyone caught any or is it just wishful thinking?

I was sitting on the dock in Piney Point a few weeks ago, and a fisherman came in with a couple of baskets of perch. Not alot, and I'm sure he wasn't using a hook and worm.

I would still think its a bit too early. What's the water temps running at? I usually don't have much luck with those until the first week or two in March:shrug:

According to all my sources they are around and should be heading up stream to spawn any time now.
